The purses are available in six designs, approximately 11” wide and 13” tall and 5” deep, lined with a tiger print silk/rayon blend fabric and are presented in a coordinating dust bag. Each purse is carefully hand-crafted by local artisans and takes about 3 days to make. The six patterns of the purse designs are native to the region, each varying slightly based on the artisan who makes it. The purses are made from banana leaves and other locally available materials.
